Hello there! Hope you all have had a great summer.
I am excited to be on the Red Team for Nori’s (@ReadWriteLove28) Book Blogger Creativity Project, where you do a blog tour of your choosing in a random group. The Red Team decided to do a world-themed blog hop; Around the World in 14 days! (shh it’s not actually 14 days but close enough) I am so excited to be doing the Mediterranean! I am Greek so the Mediterranean hits really close to home. Check out my Instagram for some of my favorite photos I took in Greece this summer!
Here are some books you should check out that are set in the Mediterranean.
Books I’ve read:
Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan
This is a great series about Greek and Roman mythology that follows the Percy Jackson series, but this time, with more travelling! Characters travel to Italy, Greece and other places in the Mediterranean, even Gibraltar!
The Land of 10,000 Madonnas by Katie Hattemer
This book is a fun road trip book that has some stops in Italy! You even get to sightsee 😀
The Copernicus Legacy by Tony Abbott
This is an action-packed, mystery middle-grade with kids who travel around the world. So, they’re obviously going to end up in the Mediterranean! Book 2 is set in Venice, and I’m hoping we’ll see more in the novellas or the rest of the books!
NOTE: If you’re into middle-grade, The 39 Clues is a great series reminiscent to this, with a worldwide family scavenger hunt around the world! The Mediterranean pops up a lot through the >39 books!
Books I haven’t read:
Vango: Between Sky and Earth by Timothée de Fombelle
“…his adventures take him from Parisian rooftops to Mediterranean islands to Scottish forests.”
This seems like such a neat book!
“Set in a semi-Mediterranean realm of old and new gods and goddesses, this compelling adventure propels readers along through the enemy lands of Sounis, Eddis and Attolia.”
Ooh. This is very intriguing.
“When Serafina, a mermaid of the Mediterranean Sea, awakens on the morning of her betrothal, her biggest worry should be winning the love of handsome Prince Mahdi.”
I’ve never read a mermaid book and not gonna lie, they don’t really intrigue me. If you’ve read this series though, let me know what you thought!
Don’t forget to check out the other blog posts for Around the World in 14 Days!

Yay for lovely post Xander 😀 Thank you for sharing. Such pretty pictures 😀 And awesome looking books. As always, Percy Jackson books are the best 😀
