In My Mailbox (2)

Hello again!  I am back from my road trip!  I had a blast; we stopped at so many cool places along the way like Carlsbad Caverns, McDonald Observatory, White Sands, Bandalier, Petroglyph and Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks as well as a few Native American festivals!

Sorry I didn’t post any reviews during my trip, but I DID read a lot of books!  ALSO, I will have a review on Thursday, and the next week I will do reviews Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Monday again.  Just because I want to make up the reviews I didn’t do on the trip, and since I am getting way ahead with my reading.  Here is the schedule: (links will appear as the reviews are posted)

Thursday 7/18: Horten’s Incredible Illusions by Lissa Evans

Monday 7/22: Savvy by Ingrid Law

Wednesday 7/24: Keeping Safe The Stars by Sheila O’Connor

Friday 7/26: In The Sea There Are Crocodiles by Fabio Geda or The Other Normals by Ned Vizzini: YOU CHOOSE!

Monday 7/28: ARC REVIEW: Island Of Fire (The Unwanteds book 3) by Lisa McMann

Since I have gotten a bunch of books lately, I thought I would share them with you, so I will do an In My Mailbox!!  In My Mailbox was started by The Story Siren, and this is basically what it is (from The Story Siren’s website; more info here):

What is In My Mailbox?

In My Mailbox was started in November of 2008. It was inspired by one of my fellow book bloggers and friends, Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. That and several other elements. What it all came down to was this: I get books to read and then ultimate share my thoughts about with my readers. As much as I want to, I can’t possibly read every book I receive. Yet, I still wanted a way to feature those books on the blog, even though it might not be in the form of a review. Problem solved!

In My Mailbox has evolved since its start. It started out with a few cover images and a synopsis…. then to actual pictures of the books and finally to vlogs!

Initially In My Mailbox was something I did myself, but ultimately I thought it would be even better if other bloggers shared in the idea… thus the craziness of IMM was born! In My Mailbox is a great way for bloggers to socialize and network their blogs, it’s also a great way for bloggers to share upcoming releases!

So, here are the books!  A list is at the bottom of these two photos.

  1. Wow! You’ve got a lot of reading to do! Sounds like you had a great trip. My next book is actually Shannon Messengers Keepers of the Lost City. I grabbed an ebook version the other day. Looking forward to your Savvy review. I liked that one.
